Audio Ark will be closed Christmas Day (25th) and Boxing Day (26th). We will reopen for business on Friday, December 27th. Normal hours of operation continue until New Year’s Eve when we close early at 3:00 PM. We will be closed New Year’s Day. Normal business hours resume January 2, 2014.

This relatively inexpensive high output moving coil cartridge has become a benchmark of sorts here at the Ark. While I cannot claim to have heard every cartridge under five hundred bucks, I do know that this one is pretty tough to beat. The 10X5 delivers on all fronts; soundstage, scale, resolution and tonal balance. It more than hints at what those mega buck coils do at a fraction of the price. $475 installed.
